Re: HDMI to DVI?
Just to confirm what I said in another post, lack of a reasonable way to connect to my VGA monitor is a killer for me. The extra cost (of a new monitor or of an expensive adaptor) makes my use quite untenable. Too bad, otherwise the Fit2 was a perfect solution. Unless there is a USB solution (USB to...

Re: VGA output
I see that the HDFury 2 costs upwards of $130. This is untenable for me, and defeats the purpose (I'd mostly not be using the Fit2 with a monitor, but need that capability). The monitor I'd be using is a VGA-only, and buying a new one with HDMI is out of the question. This is a big disappointment an...

Re: Other Configuration Versions
The Toronto reseller tells me that they will supply various configurations, including a diskless 1.6 with wireless. However, I don't need wireless, don't want to spend the extra $60, and custom configuration is only available in lots of a hundred or more. I'd like to support the requests a number of...

Re: Other Configuration Versions
Actually, I see that there is now a reseller in Mississauga, outside of Toronto. I'll check with them.

Re: Other Configuration Versions
I'm not aware of any distributor in Canada, other than buying direct. I'd be interested in a Toronto-area distributor, or one by mail direct in Canada.

Re: Other Configuration Versions
Yes, but it would be nice to have the faster processor in the diskless version, to go with the higher-end drive. It's the barrier for me.

Installing XP on a new HD
Hi there, I'm thinking of using fit2 as a music server. The horsepower in the diskless version is probably sufficient, and I'd be using ethernet to the network, hence no need for wireless. I'd be inclined to install a 500 gb 5400 drive in it, and then install one of my two or three copies of XP. Am ...
