Your readme on the driver download file indicates that I should see an IR section after opening the Device Manager. However, I do not see such a section. Could that indicate a problem with the IR port on the computer?
There is an "unknown device" showing up under the USB and HID sections but Windows will not allow me to update these drivers with the AVR309 driver.
Any ideas on what might be going on?

Some additional information....the "unknown device" that is appearing under the USB section of the Device Manager is showing a VID_0000&PID_0000\5&2FDFBEEF&0&2
So this may be why the drivers won't install as they have a different PID and VID entry.
Could it be that the microcontroller for the IR was not programmed or programmed incorrectly?
