I had this problem on a D2G-C2000-WH-X7:
It went to sleep, as expected (Power-LED off). When I then moved the mouse, the Power LED was on again, but the screen was still black.

I first installed the latest Win7 video driver I found (from 11 Oct. 2010). Which did not help.
And then I also used the the latest BIOS (from 12th May 2010) and now it works fine.

I'm having the same problem, I think I've got the latest Video driver (8.14.10.2026 - June 2010, I can't find a later one) installed and the May BIOS update installed, but still can't get the display to output when woken from sleep?
